AA)Room: Three of the office bearers met with Betsy Creekmore with regards to 
obtaining a room for the club. The university authorities have suggested that 
a room may be available at Anaconda Court and it may be leased to the club.

BB)Exam Session: An exam session has been tentatively scheduled for Feb 18 
2001. Details will be posted soon.

CC)HF Rig: A temporary antenna was set up using a length of copper wire (and 
some imagination!!) by the members Mike Coffey, Dan Bowen and Arun 
Srikantaiah.
and the HF rig was made operational. over 15 QSO's were made with more than 10 
different countries. Chief operator Mike Coffey is working on setting up a 
computerized log to log QSO's. More QSO's are expected to be made and other 
members will be given a run-dwon on how to use the equipment.

DD)Student Organization Fair: it was decided to make the clubs presence felt 
during student fairs by setting up booths and applying for a 1X1 special event 
call sign.

EE)Club Account: A club account was opened at the UT Federal Credit union. The 
account requires that the signature of at least 2 members be present before a 
check is cleared.

FF)Club Funds: It was decided to undertake some fund raiser programmes to 
collect funds for the club. Every effort is to be made to secure funds from 
the University.

GG)Vanity Call sign: Bobbie Williams will re-apply for the call sign- online.

HH)It was decided that the office bearers of the club should attend a couple 
of RACK meetings in the near future.
